Kim and her husband, Jon, live in Cedaredge, Colorado, at the foot of the majestic Grand Mesa. When she’s not cooking, reading, meditating, or tending to her garden, you’ll often find her in the mountains. She and Jon love exploring remote trails through the region’s canyons and peaks. Kim also shares a passion for local exploration with her sister—they spend hours immersed in the area’s rich Indigenous history, searching for artifacts, crystals, petrified wood, and other natural treasures. One memorable find? A very heavy piece of petrified redwood they carried over half a mile to add to Kim’s rock garden.
